So, I was able to get tabs UI working locally, but I can't get it to work live.
I've seen documentation online stating that often the problem is not having the tabs ul li formatted correctly or not referencing the css, but I don't think these are my problems.
I had this same issue locally and notice that it was due to the order of my script reference in the head of my document
Anyways I'm stumped and here is a link to my online test page.

If I have a look at the page you link to in the browser console, then I see this:

I've fixed those, but now it is giving me an error message about my function, "Uncaught TypeError: undefined is not a function"
$( "#tabs" ).tabs();

Works for me in the latest Chrome.
Did you fix this?

Yes it is now fixed. There were a few issues.
1) jQuery noConflict() was an issue which I corrected with the use of jQuery vs. $
2) I need to move my js ui library reference and the jquery ui tab function to the footer because Wodpress was loading a jquery reference after the header.
Those were the main issues.
Oh and watch out Germany come game time on Thursday! Shall we agree on a tie so that we both advance?
