I’m using this plugin for a video gallery on my site: http://www.tikku.com/jquery-youtube-tubeplayer-plugin
It performs pretty well but I discovered an issue related to custom player buttons not working on iOS devices (tested on iPhone and iPad so far, both having this problem).
To reproduce the issue, you can go to their official demo (link above) and click on the ‘play’ link in the sidebar right after page finishes loading. It will fail on iPad/iPhone devices. However, if you first click on the main player to start the video, then the custom ‘play’ button starts to work, so I was wondering what could be the problem, any help or direction is much appreciated, I’ve seen quite a few having this problem on Google, no solution so far though.
