Logging into phpMyAdmin

Hi…I’m reading PHP & MYSQL Novice to Ninja and have no idea how to log into phpMyAdmin.

I created a root user password, but at no time did I create a username (and password if it’s different than the root password) which is what I’m being asked for in order to log in. Please help.

disregard the question…I just realized my username is the word ‘root’
