So as soon as I turn 18 I gona start my own company called kwpwebdesign.
I'm a webdesigner and offer webdesign. My domain name is kwpwebdesign.se
My logo is attached.
I wanna have your opinions.
Looks OK to me, although I wonder if it's worth separating off the P bit at the top.
PS - the K is back to front.
Thanks. Yeah the k is back to front.
I don't like the colour maby you can change that.
You can maby use 2 colours but now it doesn't looks very professional.
Sure. Thanks. But I like the colour.
The text underneath is not really what I'm going to use. But the main KWP does look professionall in my opinion.
It's uncomfortable for the viewer's eye. It suggests something rather heavy and odd. You need something clear, warm, close and less "threatening".
Here's a suggestion: http://i1054.photobucket.com/albums/s490/itmitica/itmitica-kwp-02.png
I like the color, and I think I like the W and P connection. I also like the way the full title text balances under the logo.
I'm going to make a weird reference here, but I promise it's related to the topic. Did you ever see the movie That Thing You Do with Tom Hanks? They want to name their band the Oneders, like the One-ders (wonders). People keep calling them the Oh-knee-ders. When they're trying to be clever, it ultimately makes it confusing. I think that may be the case with your K, even though I can see that when it's reversed, it lines up nicely with your w. I appreciate cleverness, but I think in branding, clarity has to come first, so I think the design has to be adjusted so it's clear what the letters are.
I do think that when the letters are that heavy, it almost looks like a construction company logo. I wonder if you could add something interesting within the letters that might suggest what the business is about.
Good luck with your new venture!
The only real issue I have with it is the boxiness of the W - it's too vertical for the modernistic take on the K and the P. Perhaps if you open the edges of the W so it's more slanted, it might help. Other than that, I would just suggest:
1) Perhaps mute the color of the logo a little - it's very tomato-ish to me and a bit stark.
2) Perhaps put an outline around the letters, which might help the color tone as well.
3) The letters below are stark for how bold the logo is - a bolder, more present font there might help...
I quite like mitica's version.
I think the logo imparts a serious look, maybe like a law or accounting firm. Not sure if that is what you are after?
I think itmitică has done a nice clean job with your logo. Open, easy to read, nicely incorporates your website address, and still incorporates the red.
I agree. I think it looks good but I would break the join at both points instead of just the bottom one. I personally love these types of logos. It's actually very similar to a few of my own (maybe that's why I like it so much!!!)
I think either K should be bit joined to W or there should be some spacing between W & P to make the similarity on both ends. But overall its kind of really creative one.
that dot kind of looks like a bullet hole
it is a professional logo. but it needs some changes. you may change the first letter color and the templates design cantians this color . go ahead.
As someone who actually enjoys looking at business logos, I like yours. I think it makes a person want to look at it and think about it. I'm not sure I like the color, but I have to admit that it jumps out at the eyes!
I see that you've gotten very mixed opinions from here, but I wouldn't worry. ANY company logo can get criticism, even the most powerful businesses. Logos are like art, some people will like them, and others won't. You can't please everyone. Overall, I say, Good Work!
I like it. I had to look at a bunch of logos a few months ago and hadn't thought much about them before. My retained impression is that the "best" - even if I didn't particularly like them - were the ones that I remembered seeing "before". That is, whether I remembered what they meant, what product/organization they were associated with, they looked familiar. Then PR and repetition I guess is how the viewer's brain finally imprints the product/company association with it.
If I see this logo again, I'll know I saw it before. Sorry that I probably won't remember when or where, but I'll know I saw it before.
I do think the color is a tad too bright. A bit brassy for a solid company. The design is great.
Your logo is really excellent design. This logo is color and text format is differ from other logo. How can do this, can you share your idea.
