Looking for DVD and movie-related APIs

I’m working on a couple of applications that require movie (and, specifically, DVD and Blu-Ray) data sources. TheMovieDB.org provides a great, free API which is nice as far as it goes, but there’s no home video information. I’ve looked around a bit but I’m not sure if there’s a good existing framework for Netflix’s (and I’m not sure it fits my needs, anyway), and the Zend Amazon API framework seems to only work partially as of October.

Anyway, long story short I’m wondering if anyone can recommend a good API for this sort of thing, preferably one with an existing PHP wrapper. I assume there must be something of the sort for sites like, say, www.dvdaf.com to function.

Any and all advice would be greatly appreciated. :slight_smile:

Few weeks ago I was also looking for the same but then it went to sandbox.

If you get any info in this regard then kindly share it.

Hi dvduval; thanks very much. I had not checked that, but it doesn’t look like any of those fit what I’m looking for. Though a big thanks for pointing me to such a generally useful resource.

gotelated: I will definitely check back in if I happen to find anything particularly well-suited for these purposes.

Anyone else happen to know of a good DVD information API?
