what is the best way of having original lyrics pop up when accessing the song title?
should i store them in another location and go get them or just have it as part of the markup?
what code would i use for either?

What song title? I would be good to have an idea of your page layout and what you are trying to achieve. There are probably many ways to do something like this, but it would be better to you to paint a clearer picture of what you are trying to do.
