Make the
background-color look like this

Hi guys,

It’s about time to upgrade.
Can we make the

background-color look like this,
http://ellislab.com/forums/viewthread/224479/

Don't forget to drag the page downward so you will see what I mean.

I'm sure everyone will be happy.
The purpose is for easy readability and cool to the eye.

The current color is a pain.
I'm sure everyone will be happy.

Thanks in advanced.

This is the first I’ve heard of it, do you know something I don’t?

Sorry, but I find that example more difficult to read.
Maybe black like a DOS window would be better?

Granted I’m used to seeing the current

color scheme, I have no problem with it.
But suggestions are welcome and will be considered I'm sure.

Well, not everyone :(

Yeah Black background-color is much better.

Let the whole forum community know about this.
And lets wait if they agree or not.

Again the purpose is for easy readability.

If all else fails, you can set up your own user stylesheet for the forum so that things appear to your liking. That’s what I do.

It’s worth the effort for site you visit a lot.

@ralph_m;
Thanks dude, how to do that?

It depends on which browser you are using. Which is your preferred one for viewing the forums?

I used google chrome.

In that case, try this add-on:

https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/stylist/pabfempgigicdjjlccdgnbmeggkbjdhd

Once it’s installed, you can open it up, specify the site you want to style (e.g. sitepoint.com/forums/) and paste in the styles you want to use.

To work out those styles, open the Chrome dev tools, create some new styles, copy them and paste them into the add-on. (I know that’s not very clear, but it’s not hard to figure out. Heck, even I managed to figure it out!)
