I've been asked to code a very simple landing page and they want to use that page as a template for other landing pages.
My question is, is there anything different that I need to do to actually make it a template rather than just coding it. How is a template then delivered to a client? I think they want to easily remove the embedding video and change wording accordingly.
I usually use dreamweaver to code in.

It sounds more like they want a CMS solution, if they are intending to do all the text editing themselves. Obviously you could create a Dreamweaver template but they are proprietary. Perhaps you might want to get them to elaborate on what exactly they are wanting to achieve (and with what software) with regards to its maintenance and updating. Since the term "template" can be very generic.
