Another thing to try, don’t know how much difference it would make, when your connecting to the net, if possible connect via Ethernet and switch off the wi-fi (and probably bluetooth as well)
might be off the topic, but I wonder why there are no laptops with solar batteries built into the lid. There are plenty of external solar batteries charges.
Four Tips that worked best for me.
- don’t left AC power connected when the laptop is fully charged
- Don’t let the battery fall below the critical level(10%). Connect the AC when it reaches 20 %
- Don’t let you machine to heat up.
- Don’t ever dare to connect a low current or a high current charger. It damages battery in seconds
