Mobile Websites

There is also an on-line simulator for Opera Mini: http://www.opera.com/developer/tools/mini/

and an emulator for more basic handsets: http://mtld.mobi/emulator.php

If you don’t have a mobile phone that does web or have never tried the medium, I’d advise against entering a business relationship where the key product is something where you have zero experience.

As it is, the whole ‘quick fix mobile site’ racket is already saturated, heavily spammed (almost to the level of SEO now), and awash with offshore cowboys and get-rich-quicksters, it’s a venture with out any future unless your partners have some unique technical advantage over the 1000’s of others that are way too late in this highly dubious ‘service’.

As for online simulators, none of them are very accurate with regards to the 95% of mobile-browsers that matter (the ones used by paying customers to view their new site on: iphone, android, blackberry).

The best ‘emulator’ I’ve found is having a tablet and a phone handy to check changes made to the mobile version, most of the emulators don’t render the CSS correctly.
