I’m not sure if the instructions on the Wordpress.org about moving a WP site are thorough enough. I think the fact that I’ve read some different instructions on other sites has confused me a bit. I’d like to get some clarity.

Let’s try again:
I moved a site and afterwards only the homepage displayed properly. The other pages displayed using a theme that wasn’t even installed.
I later deactivated plugins and re-saved the permalink settings. Then the site worked properly. Does anyone have any suggestions on what might have happened?
