Need help in condition that if data save header location

Hi…

I have query for insert then I just want to add condition that after it save it will locate on the previous page:

here is my code:


$sql = "INSERT INTO receiving_materials
    (sr_date, sr_number, si_num, s_name, po_num, qty, mat_code, mat_desc, wh_code, bin_loc)
    VALUES
    ('$sr_date', '$sr_number', '$si_num', '$s_name', '$po_num', '$qty', '$mat_code', '$mat_desc', '$wh_code', '$bin_loc')
    ON DUPLICATE KEY UPDATE
    sr_date = '$sr_date', sr_number = '$sr_number', si_num = '$si_num', s_name = '$s_name', po_num = '$po_num',

Hi,

Are you asking, how to redirect after a form page has been posted to a page that contains your code above or something else, it is not clear.?

Please describe in steps what happens i.e.:

  1. User fills in form
  2. User selects ‘Save’
  3. Verification runs of form elements to ensure all required fields are set.
  4. If verification passes then form info is posted to another page that runs an SQL insert
  5. After the insert the page redirects to the original page
