Hello again folks,
In continuation of my earlier post:
I'm here once again with a lot of improvements in my website - http://www.zubera.co.in
I am looking for feedback on my site which allows user to post free ads of their products/services.
All feedback are welcomed negative or positive.
Thanks in Advance

I will only type your problems because everyone can say "good job!" So...
Now, let's get started:
1. If I want to login and change my mind, what do I do? How can I close that login box?
2. Images like http://www.zubera.co.in/images/premium_ads.gif are "not nice design". Green and orange cannot be in the same place. And there are other examples: no padding for some boxes, .
3. Let the scrollbar be the default. That hidden scrollbar it's not intuitive and also unprofessional.
4. After a user is registered you don't need a captcha. You should assume it's a human because you have to make sure of that during the registration process.
5. Search after city -> 1 " <script>alert(1)</script> ' 2 and you'll get <There are no results matching ""> and 3 pages of... nothing
Good luck with the project!
PS: I like the logo!

The site is a design disaster. It is very busy with so many things going on to distract a visitor's attention. You have flashing icon, scrolling box, animated slogan
I also got a pop-up ad and when I clicked to close it, it opened a tab in my browser. If I did not have to write this review I would have closed your site right away. I hate sites that push such intrusive advertising. If you want to build your site then have non-intrusive advertising.
Scrollbar is invisible and I had to select the text to see the scroll and then the page goes on and on.

Thanks for all providing valuable inputs.
I have worked on following suggestions:
- Removed Popup
- Revert back to original scroll bar
- Hide twitter bird
Working on other aspects to improve my site better.
Thanks once again !!

your site seems buggy, wont stop loading...

Firstly, I do agree with most of the comments written above. The site takes ages to load. I would try to create something more user friendly. A minimal design perhaps because all this information in one page is giving my goosebumps. I understand that classified ads are very information-heavy by definition but you should try and hide everything that the user doesn't need at first sight.
Also those animated gifs, why are you using them?
And this 'Hey pay attention to me!!!' is really weird.

I like your site, But it has so many ads and pop ups takes away from the core purpose of it. I'd prob be afraid to join in fear of getting loads of spam it needs to be more user friendly IMO.

Your Site Seems Load little bit Slowly. May be it is your hosting problem, Because You are using <snip>. I will suggest you to contact your hosting provider & told them to look in to it why your site loads slow. I will also suggest you to host your website on Good Web Hosting Provider. Good Luck With Your Site

I would focus on :
- page load speed (find out what causes it to load so slowly)
- design (start with the logo)
-fix html code errors (the code looks messy)
-fix js errors
-make the urls user friendly
Good luck !

The first impression is that it looked good but stuffed with too many things. You are trying to give most of the information on one page, you probably could do like five latest items and then have a link for more items etc. This way your page will look more professional.

Thanks for your valuable responses.
I've cut down a lot of time consuming sections from home page viz.
- List of Region/City
- List of items
- News section
- Some flashy items
And I feel the page loads much faster after doing this action.
Please share your experience in loading page.

Anyone for feedback?
webcosmo — 2013-03-18T19:31:30-04:00 — #15
Too busy, too much flashing ads and widgets, header design is missing - looks cut, logo is cluttered, in the header is a huge blank space and all those "share" and "login" things stuffed to the right. Delete those widgets and you can start from there with the design.

Your Classified site is good but i think you should have to remove the pop up.

Some of the ads overlap in firefox for me. I also wouldn't have a big ad at the top of the page, as it looks kind of bad. I would change the search bar so that when you click in it the text already in it disappears.

Color scheme is good.
The problem is in your gallery - it rotates waaaay to fast and is in constant loading.
Try to make your website more static - it will help the reader to dive in.
If you are making aim towards the U.S. and U.K. audience, you have to change prices to $ or pounds, or give an option to convert prices right away.
Hope that helped
