Soon I will be starting a new project that will be a mens styled magazine. I was thinking about making a front page myself to pull wordpress content in. But at the same time after reading about wordpress, I can do anything with wordpress really anyway… So would a full wordpress site be the most functional and efficient means of creating my website?
There’s no reason why you couldn’t get it to do whatever you might want it to do.
Whether or not it’s the best choice, depends on any number of factors. But overall, if you’re going to be managing it, I would pick the system that you find the easiest to use, and that allows you the most flexibility to do the things you need it to do.
This means auditioning them and trying them out yourself … get a little firsthand evaluation.
