I have created a website for a foundation that focuses on helping poor people, minorities and people with problems. The costumer have not seen the website yet. The text and images are mine.
I want to know what do you think about the layout and the website.
Please give me points for improvement
Hi Mazigh. Do you have a mobile version of the site? I know responsive design can be a bit too much of a buzzword and all, but it's worth factoring into a design these days. This layout seems only focused on desktop screens, which I don't really think is viable any more.
Nice looking clean website, well laid out and easy to navigate. It resizes well on my desktop PC.
I can not see a lot wrong and some personal comments:
You are using two fonts and I would only use the one - navigation and some of the header text is Times new roman?
I like a small 1px border around images as it makes them stand out more.
Your footer seems aligned to the left.
On the Nieuws & Updates slider the text can flow under the image, I think it looks nice if it does not.
The logo looks a bit small, but I know making it larger would increase the size of the header. I wonder if you could have a semi transparent version a bit like a watermark on the page somewhere?
I would lose the top and bottom horizontal white bars
I do not like the colour of the donate button - it seems to strong compared to the other site colours BUT it does its job as I find my eye drawn to it.
When checking the code with Firefox it tells me there are 10-20 errors on each page.
It is true, the website is only for desktop. In the coming weeks I'm going to create the responsive website.
Thanks for your helpful comment. Your tips will be discussed with the customer.
Look like it is simple, some of need as logo at head page, responsive. But i like it's simple.
i think you should add more off either boards or a background,,, i find it too white for me. maybe also give the option for other languages?
