So after waiting one week for a repsonse of the headmaster of socket.io on my email I decided to ask my question here. When I’m trying to install socket.io when having node.js installed using “npm install socket.io” in cmd I get this output. I really don’t know anything about it so I leave it up to people who understand it.
Please provide the additional logging details that are found in C:\Program Files

pm-debug.log
Those are there for a limited time, but I’ll edit this post when I get on my pc. Off to the hairdresser now.
Sorry for late reply, I kept getting 500 - Internal Server Error when trying to post the code here. Found out that it was just way to much so I uploaded it to pastebin: http://pastebin.com/rtJPiesi
Near the end, from line 2375 is where the log tells you that the problem is to do with the install of ws@0.4.22
That install is performed at line 1619, and you can see the failure beyond that.
I don’t get any of that debug message, can you look into it for me? I really don’t know what all of that means.
I’m pretty sure that the google groups forum for socket.io will be the best place for you to get help with this socket.io issue.

I find this answer elegant, non-informative, arrogant, useless and insulting. if you don’t know say so. when a newbe is asking for help is for a reason and this answer DID NOT HELP!. the twit asking for help was kept in the dark after this elegant answer as before help was asked for… way to go mr. guru…
You’ll be pleased to know then, that he did post later on at that forum and a reply arrived for him from someone who was more capable of helping him with his issue.
