I checked out my website ([collegeinfogeek.com) on WebsiteGrader and compared it with a similar site ([URL="http://hackcollege.com"]hackcollege.com](http://collegeinfogeek.com)). My site is on Wordpress (self-hosted), and theirs used to be but is now on Squarespace. The biggest thing I noticed from the grade is that only 1 of my site's pages is "indexed" by Google, while almost 5,000 of theirs are. My site is much newer, but it still has around 100 pages. Why aren't my pages being indexed? I do have the Google XML Sitemaps plugin installed, and I also have the Google Analytics plugin installed, which works perfectly fine. Thoughts?
Ah - nevermind, figured it out. I checked the www version of my domain, and I don't have a www .htaccess redirect set up yet.
Wordpres is the most Search engne friendly content management systems. Google will index the pages very fastly, but i hope there is some robot.txt files may be in your root.
