How would I go about this, I want the site completely blocked if a person is outside of North Carolina.
I intend to later only disallow registration outside of North Carolina, but for now while it is in beta I need a way to block the entire site.
Suggestions?
Take a look at what Maxmind’s geolite lookup by IP can do for you. I have used Country, but maybe city will be good enough for you. There is an open source version.
This is not and can never be bulletproof, but might help you focus down by cities.
