Opera 4 mobile -- really really bad browser

Opera for mobile is a joke…

very very slow… if you have a redirect in your page, Opera displays a page that says:

“redirect status: click <url> to go to this page…”

or some incredibly stupid thing like that…

but it still won’t redirect me!!! even if I type the url directly I still land on the “Redirection Status” page… this is RETARDED…

any comments?

(and why won’t it support rounded corners? man, what a joke…)

(this is Opera on iPhone…)

PS: I just opened a NEW WINDOW… and typed in url from scratch… I STILL land on this “Redirection Status” page…

good question… but since I don’t know what sites and have and don’t have redirects, I don’t know…:wink:

I have very simple redirects I do in meta tags (so they also w/o JavaScript…) they work fine in all browsers, Opera mobile is the only one where I have seen this very odd behavior…

I have also not good experience with Opera on my mobile phone device. It is very slow so instead of using opera browser on mobile device I will prefer firefox browser. This is pretty much faster than Opera.

I don’t use Opera either…

but as a developer am just trying to make my site work in Opera…

don’t understand this Opera-only very weird behavior regarding redirects… it SUCKS…
