Pagination and data filtering – help needed

Hi everyone,

I’m using the pagination plug-in “pajinate” on my website. However, I would also like to be able to use a filter to narrow down the items displayed. I tried the code from evoluted.net “Simple Data Filtering Using jQuery” but have been unable to make the two scripts work together.

Does anyone know of any plug-ins that combine pagination and data filtering? I see that many travel and e-commerce websites use such a combination. There is also something called “faceted search” which uses Apache Solr? Would using Solr be a better option than the using the above plug-ins/scripts? If so, are there any good tutorials?

Jplist is one that provides both filtering and pagination.
