facebook and twitter is hot now, but it not suite for a personal website master, and they are out of date.

I would like to ask, what are new types of websites?:eye:

I didnā€™t get your point tozp, both sites are the top social networking websites these day.

Weā€™ve been using these methods in generating traffic and marketing:

Facebook:

  1. Add people/send friend request using the ā€œAre You Interestedā€ application
  2. Creating of the websiteā€™s own Group and then invite your contacts to (join) the group

Twitter:

  1. Use keywords on your profile that is related to your website/business (ie; "#dating, #travel)
  2. Share links on your profile, while talking about non-business too.

what exactly are you talking about? Twitter and Facebook are not out of date. They are the market leaders in their respective market segments, i.e. social networks and micro blogging.

You could develop your own website and integrate Twitter and Facebook in it by utilising their respective APIs.
