Hi, i am experiencing some technical difficulties with my FTP for my site at the moment so i was hoping to view my site locally...
My site is in php BUT there is no connection to a database. I simply want to be able to run a php site locally so i am looking for a small app for this as i do not need phpmyadmin... any suggestions, thanks in advance...

I use EasyPHP on a 4GB flash drive.
If I need to take it with me to work on it somewhere other than home, it's very convenient....

Cool, so does this mean you do not have to install anything on your system... also is it available for the mac

If you're on a Mac, XAMPP is a good choice. And it's free.

Everything is installed on the flash drive. The only thing on my computer is the short cut to start it up after plugging in the drive.
The down load only took a couple minutes but the installation took over 45. I wasn't expecting that and it made for a short night sleep. (I had to play when it was finished)
As for mac, it's a WAMP server.
I just checked and, for now at least, the 4GB flash is kinda over kill.
Currently the server and all my files are only taking up 218MB of space, so the whole works isn't very big. (my files are less than 1MB).
