Pink For October Awards: And the winners are

First of all, I want to thank all participants for their effort and work in all areas (logo and front-end coding). It was great that you all could take a bit of time to submit your entries although I know that you have a busy schedule.

Of course, I do hope that in the future they will have some more people to compete against and make it more interesting! But your creativity and effort has been great and I can only thank you for it.

Great job everyone!

Of course, we have some prizes that we’re desperate to give them away so let’s go!

Logo competition:

The winner is…Peter777!

Content competition:
Err… Well, nobody sent anything. Kind of empty in this area :frowning:

Front-End Competition:

The Winner is… AussieJohn!

Sega came second and xheight came a close third.

Since we have an extra book because there is no winner for the Content area, Sega will be receive a little surprise too.

Please, join me and congratulate the winners as well as say a big thank you to all contestants for their participation.

A lot of great entries this time around, especially considering how much the forums have been changing over the past couple of months. Congratulations to everyone involved, and to the winners for some outstanding work!

 Cool… I came in second, pretty neat! Bravo Peter777, can you pm your entry so I can see what you did. Hopefully I can learn a thing or two from your design.

Congratulations to all

Congratulations to all the winners. Enjoy your prizes!

I suspect when Nuria gets some spare time she’ll post some of the winning entries to view here but at the moment she is busy like a bee flying around… so stay tuned.

Congratulations!

Congrats to everyone!

Good efforts!
Congrats to the winners!
Stay tuned guys! More competitions are being planned! Hang around

Congratulations guys

woot. I was just wondering today what was happening with this comp

Thanks guys! Who were the judges? I’d love some feedback to see what their thoughts were! :teach:

:pinkribbon:

The judges were very busy people! But I’m afraid that the delay was all mine who had to do the announcements

I’ll try to collect all the feedback I can and send it to you.

You will get some personal feedback John on behalf of the Judges, you have my word on that. I shall inform you that the specialist volunteer SPF Judging panel were numbered six like I originally stated. That’s all you really need concern yourself with and that the results were a consensus of my team who covered many multiple aspects; as outlined in Nuria’s PfO competition rules.

Also, unforeseen, a lot of major ‘real life’ changes and issues were occurring in at least three of the Judges lives during the competition. So personally I commend them for completing before my set deadline time and I run a very tight judging ship… I do crack the whip. Nuria has explained the tiny delay time with her publishing the results.

Congratulations to all. Hope next time I will win.

Hmm, it looks like the main entries were mysteriously late to the showcase party…

Never mind, I tracked them down even though it wasn’t supposed to be my job placing them here. We have all the entries that were listed above plus one of the staff entries a “just for fun” demo. Better late than never as they say.
