I would like to place a social networking plugin or (widget) - e.g. [Follow Me or [URL="http://www.addthis.com/"]AddThis](http://www.ignitesocialmedia.com/tools/follow-me/) - in either the Header or Menus section of my WordPress blog. Can anyone tell me if this is possible?
I am using the [Imbalance 2 theme by [URL="http://wpshower.com/"]wpshower](http://wpshower.com/themes/imbalance-2/).
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It looks like You would not be able to do that with Follow Me from a quick glance. You should be able to with AddThis by grabbing the code and modifying your header.php file in your theme

Thanks for the advice. Do you know if I would have to make significant changes to the header.php file in the theme? If yes, do you know of any articles I can read that would walk me through them.

I haven't used that theme, so I don't know what's all in it, nor where youuu want to put it. I don't think you will need to rip it apart, but you may need to tweak/add CSS.
