I recently finished a flash math game site, Math Games Play , and I would like to know your opinion.
The site is based on some custom script that I made.
Can you share your thoughts on it : usability, design, seo.... ?
Thank you !

Seems okay for me. What you did here was you compiled a couple of math games and put them all in your site. Is that correct? If that's the case, then hope you made sure it's okay for the authors.
Also, I believe the site design could still be improved. You can make it stand out more. The current orange one looks a bit plain. Make it more fun and lively.

It is hard to tell who you see as the user.
If it is for children you may want to look at equivalent disney/child game sites.
Right now it has the layout that is more for an adult.
And it looks a bit cluttered.

i think the games are for childern. i say that because of the background and look of website it seems for children. well layout is good. however the categories aren't helpful. for example education math games can contain also puzzle games. try to make categories more specific

So this site is like Y8.com, isn't? games are cool and very educational. However, I think you should categorize each game based on the game type as well as the age of the target users

Thank you guys for your opinions. I'm now focusing on the design and I will soon release an update to make the site more "alive".

I am not a big fan of the design. I think the logo also needs to be a bit rearranged..
I am not an expert in websites that have games. I do understand that your primary goal is to have people click on the ads. But do you want this on the home page? Do you not maybe want to zero in on the games first, and then on the page where the game is played display the ads?
Also when clicking on the categories on the left, it shows about 15 games. I would want the option to display more on one page.... (user selected)

your site is good and atractive..
But you have to increase your site text content
punctro — 2012-12-12T03:59:15-05:00 — #11
I know search engines like text. Unfortunately I don't have too much space to squeeze some text in except for the footer.
I don't use AV Arcade. It's a custom script wrote by me.
Thank you all for the suggestions !

I agree with Luisribas - you should add more text with keywords. Also page loading time of pages with games is rather high. In other respects your site is rather interesting and well done.

i can't say, i'm impressed, but it's ok

Sorry, but i don't see design, this looks like standart CMS theme. And yes you have to increase your site text content.

I personally think it's attractive. The only thing you need is to add more content but I'm sure you will do that soon. On game pages, the leaderboard ad between the type of game it is and the main bar kind of seem weird, maybe take off the blue header on the what type of game category it is. Good luck!

Since this is a website for children, I believe that it is better to make everything more playfully colored. For example the logo, a child wouldn't understand what it represents and it wouldn't stand out. Also, I would make the menus larger and with more padding and perhaps more intuitive (for example using icons to represent content) because think about it. Children are not experiences web users and you have to guide them through the process. I believe that the layout is not bad for me, but when I think about how a child would interact with this interface, I wonder if it would be possible at all.

i dont like logo, and change search input position...

The design looks OK. But i don't think a user will come and play there. Because there are so many new games are lined up in the queue and their graphical presentation is really cool. So i suggest you to place some which are having rich graphical appearance.

I would increase the size of the menu bar and even change its design a little.
delete the space between the word "Everyday" to the exclamation mark "!" on the top of the page where it says "New Math GamesEveryday !"
I would put the "sign up" and "login" links on the top right corner of the webpage.
Other than that it looks real good to me!
