I’m looking for a plugin that will strip out all the unnecessary elements such as the banner, comments, etc… and focus on printing just the blog entry itself. Any recommnedations?
I tried the “Print Friendly and PDF” plugin but that doesn’t seem to work.

This plugin works absolutely great for me.
What exactly is the problem you are having with it?
Well, according to my client who I am installing it for, she says there is no difference b/w this plugin and what it regularly prints out which includes the regular junk of comments and banner and stuff. I wish I can confirm myself but my printer isn’t working so I can only go by her word. I don’t see much in the backend for getting rid of the unnecessary elements.

I would still try and get to the bottom of the issue with your client and “Print Friendly and PDF”, however.
Are you sure that they are using it correctly (although there’s not much you can really do wrong)?
Could you ask them for more details?
