Protecting an addon domain with htaccess

Is it possible to password protect an addon domain using htaccess for a specific domain name? In other words, I have two domain names mapped to a 61 GB website. I want the primary domain to be able to access the website without any restriction, and the secondary domain to be password protected. Is this possible with htaccess?

Andy,

Certainly. Simply password protect the DocumentRoot of the secondary domain.

Maybe I didn’t explain myself correctly

I have 1 website, but two domain names. I want one of them password protected by .htacess, and the other without. Is there any way to make .htaccess domain specific?

Andy,

Still the problem. Addon domains are usually in a subdirectory of the main domain; Parked domains share the webspace of the main domain. WHICH is your configuration?
