Just saw this quote and laughed at how true it really is.
“Arguing with an Engineer is a lot like wrestling in the mud with a pig, after a couple of hours you realize the pig likes it.”

Back on the topic of engineers … I know a few of them, and thus know how wonderfully true this is:

To the optimist, the glass is half full. To the pessimist, it’s half empty. To the engineer, there is twice as much glass as there needs to be.

Depends on what kind of pedant you are. No doubt a physicist would argue that the glass is almost completely empty, as elements are 99 woteva % empty space …

It’s sort of true, too.
