Random Permission Problems When Uploading A File

Hi All

I am having nightmares regarding a random error I am getting.

Same code is always running but ever now and then I get A Permission Denied error when uploading a file to a folder.

Any thoughts?

I know it’s not much to go on but that is basically it. Why would it work most of the time and then not very few other times??

Perhaps a lock on the directory whilst your service provider backs up ?

How often ? always the same time of day ?

I would just say it’s random. It could actually be 1 in every x but I don’t know. I’ll keep an eye on the time of day but I don’t think it’s that…

If your sure its not your script I’d make a script that writes a file, logs the success then deletes it, and run it from a CRON every 5 mins for a day or so, then go look at the log, see if you can see a pattern. If theres a problem then go to webfusion and ask whats going on.

I’m not really sure of anything, but why would the same script work, most of the time, then fail on occasions?
