Real time feeds / AJAX and web hosting bandwidth

If I created a JQuery twitter feed widget which should display real time information (or poll at very frequent times), will this have a big affect on my bandwidth cap with my web hosting company.

However since its javascript, it will be the clientside which will poll twitter, not the web server?

I’m not sure why one would reinvent [URL=“https://twitter.com/about/resources/widgets/widget_search”]the wheel here, but as long as you aren’t proxying the twitter traffic through your server you would be pulling on twitter, not your host or your bandwidth.
