Really Odd Issue with Wordpress and Analytics

I made a copy of a live site, updated it in my test environment, and reuploaded it. In Google analytics now we have traffic coming to links that dont exist. The urls are actually tail ends from other sites we did for the same client. How could this be possible?

redirect them to the correct url using 302 redirect or create a landing page to handle these errors

Maybe you associated the wrong WordPress API Key for the live site with one you used on a previous site for the client?

Thank you! The tracking code somehow got duplicated.
