Recommend me a book

Hi

I want to learn about databases from the beginning. I don’t know any thing about them so I need a book or training videos for absolute beginner.

Can you recommend me any good materials?

I’m far from being a database expert but it’s been a while since I’ve been a database newbie too (I haven’t opened my SQL for Dummies in over a decade).

I have read the SitePoint Book Simply SQL by @r937;
I found it easy to read and very educational.

IMHO you should at least check out the free sample chapters.
