I know this sounds easy, but the layout on this site is pretty complicated and I confused myself.
Someone please help me get rid of the extra margins (left and right) of the main body.

Not sure what extra margins you mean. Could you do a screen shot and point out where the problem is, and indicate what browser you are seeing this on? It looks fine in Firefox.
