We have reinstated the ability for members to report Private Messages that they are concerned about. If you receive an unsolicited message that is worrying, please use the Report PM button up the very top right of the message.
That will flag it to a moderator to look into.

Thank you for sharing!Anyone who knows me knows I don't put up with harassment, especially if someone thinks they're going to be sneaky about it. So somebody didn't like one of my answers and apparently wasn't able to get it deleted and decided to tell me what a liar and low life I am via private message.<snip />

I've been constantly receiving some spammish BS as Private Messages. Well, thanks for the wise solution to the problem:)

Great, I waited for that for a long time.
A little side note: spamming seems to have decreased. You all are doing a fine job

Ah, HAWK does it again.
molona — 2010-07-06T05:02:36-04:00 — #13
I don't know if you can avoid them. Unfortunately, you'll probably have to receive the spam first and then report it
But the staff now can be quicker on acting upon it.

In this way, we can avoid spammers.

So all I need to do is click that triangular icon with the ! in it, fill in a description of the problem and submit. Easy enough

It's really great that you took the initiative to do this. Now i know that i can ask someone's help if i need it(but let's hope that i won't:) ).

Haha. Don't say that I never listen.
alexdawson — 2010-07-13T02:33:53-04:00 — #18
Hooray! All my constant moaning and whining has paid off!
Having a username beginning with A seems to make me at the top of private message spammers lists
