I bought software to build forms from what looked like a reputable internet company. I stupidly used the same PW for that account that I used when I set up my hosting account. (I know I have to learn php and how to make my own forms but I was really pressed for time.)
So reporting abuse to the abuser is meaningless. Is there anywhere else to report privacy abuse? I know probably nothing will come of it, but I want it reported somewhere.
Yes, I have changed by PWs and reported the credit cards as stolen.
There are a bunch of websites (can't remember their names) I heard about like pissed consumers, BBB and the likes that you can file a complaint with and it gets ranked pretty good on the search engines. This gives them motivation to solve the complaint because new customers google them and see bad reviews and scam reports.
Thank you. That is a good idea. I was thinking there was some "ultimate" reporting base, but I guess that would be an impossibility. He's again changed my name and also deleted the "support" that I was supposed to get for a year with the purchase. I'm seeing that many people complaining of a problem with the software in those forums just disappear. Then the five "regulars" extoll the virtues of the software. I guess the problem posters got banned as I was. "Banned" doesn't show up on the screen. I suppose that would alert prospective purchasers.
