So I have created a new theme, but I can’t get the screenshot to appear in the admin view. I know that the image is in a proper format and is ready for Wordpress because I am able to get this screenshot to appear for other themes. I’m curious what code/and or file is responsible in a theme for “grabbing” the screenshot? Any suggestions on what I should look at to get the screenshot to appear in my new theme?
Perhaps try deactivating the theme and reactivating. Is the theme description, title, author etc displaying correctly on the Theme’s page? Once I had a theme that wouldn’t show the screenshot, and also the theme text was all over the place. It turned out it was because the text editor I used put some invisible characters in my stylesheet and that mucked it up.
