I am looking for open source directory platform (script) based on PHP. I have few following criteria:

1- Regularly update of script
2- Rich mods, addons
3- busy support forum
4- themes
5- reciprocal function
6- advance admin panel.

My friends suggested to have PHP open source directory script and majority of the directories are based on this script. What do you suggest?

If your site current has good SEO and at least 95% unique content, adding an open-source PHP based directory would be good. But, only to the point of charging people to submit their links and content to, and have them directly PayPal you money. An open-source PHP directory should be seen as an additional income stream and not optimized with ads.
