I’ve got a project on the horizon where the visitor should be able to order 20 items as corporate gifts but specify 20 different shipping addresses. In other words, each item would go to an individual address.
I can create a custom solution to do this, but that will probably be too expensive and take too long for the project requirements.
Have you seen any products that include this feature? Ideally, a hosted solution would be best but I would entertain other apps if the had the right set of features.
Are you looking to have a different shipping cost calculated for each item’s delivery address specified? Or will the total order shipping cost be fixed cost for an entire order or calculated based on the total order weight, or total number of items or total order cost rather than the individual delivery destinations of each item?
That is the part I’m still trying to pin the client down to. I don’t even want to think about having to create 20 shipping fees based on destination. I hope to hear back with their plan soon. I’ve suggested they use a flat-rate shipping model.
