The company I work for runs it’s blog via wordpress. Recently, we’ve noticed that any social media stats (Facebook likes, Twitter RTs etc) associated with posts before a certain date have been wiped, although the comments remain. Does anyone have any idea why this might of happened or if there is a way to resolve it? The blog was once associated with another website too, but on the selling of that company was removed. Could the move have anything to do with it perhaps?
It is now recording ‘likes’ etc again for posts since that date, but would be interested to hear anyone’s thoughts on this, or how we may reinstate the stats.
