Hi,
I am still stuck in the beginning stages of web design & architecture for a Job Board Listing Site for Dental Jobs based in USA.
I was looking at design of one of the popular sites careerbuilder.com
When I visit http://www.careerbuilder.com/Jobs/Channel/Health-Care/
and type some random search say “XYZ123”.
It opens a dynamic search result page where an automatic Meta Title is created and canonical url is inserted which is <link rel=“canonical” href=“http://www.careerbuilder.com/Jobs/Channel/Health-Care/Xyz123/” />
So basically this url gets created the minute a search is made (be it any search) - http://www.careerbuilder.com/Jobs/Channel/Health-Care/Xyz123/
Also Second Case
Lets say I search for “New York”. Search Results appear on a dynamic URL whose canonical URL automatically inserted is <link rel=“canonical” href=“http://www.careerbuilder.com/Jobs/Channel/Health-Care/New-York/” />
Surprisingly the url http://www.careerbuilder.com/Jobs/Channel/Health-Care/New-York/
is indexed in Google. How is this URL even being indexed as its a dynamic URL and not even a fixed page but just a result of search keyword…
Is this SEO Friendly Design?
Regards,
Nuk
