Partly to celebrate the launch of our Learnable Photoshop course and partly for my own entertainment, I have decided to hold a Photoshop competition.
The rules are simple.
You have to Photoshop the face of a famous person onto the body of an animal that you think epitomises that person.
Entries will be judged 50% on your Photoshop skills and 50% on the humour value.
You may enter as many times as you like.
Files must be 1.5 MB max (with 70% quality as min) and no larger than 800x600 px.
Entries must be submitted in this thread.
The closing date for entries is Friday 26 July.
The top three entries will win a free month’s subscription to Learnable (either stand-alone or added to your current subscription).
I’m not sure if I regret googling baboons or Stallone more, both are considerably uglier than I remember from my childhood. At any rate, my photochop skills are unmatched!
OK, this is terrible Photoshop work, but it’s meant to be (as I already have a Learnable account!)
This is a photo I took of a bird known by various names, including “Kingfisher”. I was wondering to myself—“What famous person can I associate with the idea of Kingfisher?”
I’m disappointed by the number of entries, but not by the calibre. There is some hilarious stuff here.
Thanks very much to @johnlacey;, @roastgoat; and @PortalPacific; for your entries. You have each won a free month at Learnable.
I’ll be in touch to sort out your prize.
