Simply put, what types of informational questions should I ask the professionals who work at web design firms or for themselves?

I need a few more ideas on questions.

For my assignment, I have several learning goals:
I need more information about the careers within my local area.
Who’s hiring the most (onshore/local) web communications talent.
The specific positions or job-titles within web design, Flash animation & social media.
The state of the local job market, from their pov.
