Travel Map with great functionality - Is this a Plugin or custom coding?

Hi everyone,

I’m hoping someone could help me identify if this website http://www.yearinthewild.com/ is using a plugin for their Map functionality.

You will see a Map on the home page and if you hover over the map you can see a popup which can also take you to a relevant post, etc. There is also a full screen map + a timeline of destinations travelled to.

They look to be using a custom built plugin designed by them, you wouldn’t find it anywhere on the web for download.
