I’m new to a lot of this and I’m setting up my first server at DigitalOcean (a droplet). TripWire and Fail2Ban both seem simple to install, but a little over whelming to configure. The site’s got pretty good community coverage on most things, but I feel like I’ve exhausted their material on these 2 and still not grocking it and all the video’s on youtube have no audio… so they are a little annoying to follow… any additional material that focuses on explaining or elaborating on the configurations would be appreciated… I’m afraid I’ll be blocking something I’d wish I left open… http, https and the mail… I don’t have a specific question yet so much as just want to see more info about it.
