Do you see eye tracking as a useful tool for designers?

Hi, I’m not a designer but I know a lot about eye tracking more in human behavior research. I would like to ask a question from designers: What do you feel about eye tracking test on your design? I made an online eye tracking system but not sure if designer can benefit from it.
