Video sitemap rating confusion

When putting together a video sitemap explained here:

I’m puzzled by how to rate a video. In the <video:rating> you have to rate the video, they explain - The value must be float number in the range 0.0-5.0. But what does this mean.

So my question is please: “Would bambi be rated 0.0 and XXX 5”
