View contents of a mysql database

Hi, how do you view the contents of a mysql database please?

with a front-end utility, such as heidisql, mysql workbench, phpmyadmin, et al

alternatively using commands (hard-core coders only)

Assuming your database is on your web host, you’ll likely find one of the tools @r937 mentions in the admin panel.

Many thanks for the quick responses. I do have phpmyadmin on my cpanel, how do I view it from that please?

It should be a simple case of clicking on the icon and looking for the database you’re interested in. Once you’ve found that, all your tables should be nested below its parent db. Be very careful not to change anything though, if you’re unsure what you’re doing.

Thank you very much for the helpful replies, that solved it.
