Visual LightBox problem

I don’t know if this is the right place for this query. I can only get VLB to display its rows of thumbnails at the top of a page which looks horrible.
I would like to be able to to put stuff eg the page title at the top of the page with the rows of thumbnails below it. I have VLB 4.8 and Namo 2006 in Windows 7 and no matter how I tweak VLB’s properties or cut and paste in the HTML VLB takes no notice.
Is there a way to force the thumbnails to a particular line, or am I stuck with them at the top of a page?

Hi pjbw. Welcome to SitePoint.

I don’t know about VLB, but from their site is seems you can

paste lightbox gallery into existing html page

So I assume you can make up the HTML page any way you like, with headings etc, and then place the gallery where you want it.

To be honest, I’d rather use a simple plugin for a gallery that I have more control over, such as slimbox2. Do you have any experience with HTML/CSS/JavaScript?

Thank you Ralph,
I have contacted Visual LightBox and it seems that their Help is a bit out of date. One Natalie has emailed me a very comprehensive set of instructions about how to publish VLB
