Hey, here you have my first run…

Good and nice contest!
Michele

Here is my [first] submission. The font used on the front can be a variable.

It’s great to see all the original ideas coming through!

Looking towards simplicity with these. Both designed in Inkscape, using your t-shirt template. (Inkscape is a vector art program)

My last thread was sorely moderated, so I thought I had better make amends.

Coding is important but don’t forget the designers!

here’s my t-shirt design

A variation:

I couldn’t get away from the concept of the logo looking like either 2 arms or 2 legs so used that in my tshirt design.

What a neat idea! It looks like he’s dancing or getting ready to play a djembe. Sitepoint - we be jammin’.

Neat… although, keep Sitepoint’s branding in mind, plus what if a person that does not know Sitepoint sees a shirt, how will they understand what Sitepoint is about?

okay so my sitepoint face was missing some code
here’s version 2

Thanks for your feedback. I’m planning on a 2nd iteration over the next day or so, I’m not entirely happy with how it turned out. I will also consider how I can better communicate what Sitepoint is.

Good luck to everyone!

I can’t design for nuts, so this is not a design as such, but a concept. My aim is that—after seeing this tee—people will be motivated to check out SitePoint … whether or not they are into web development etc.

Here is a 2nd iteration of my Sitepoint arms and legs concept
