If you were drafting a set of requirements to hand over to a web developer, aside from the functiona/aesthetic side of things that tells them how you wish a site/app to behave or look, what would you include in terms of standards, or tests that the site must meet at this point in time? I’m thinking of things like the W3C validation tests, meeting web standards, the Google ‘mobile-friendly’ check, accessibility, RWD, minimum browser versions, and so on.
What else might you incorporate to ensure that the end-deliverable is going to be robust and as future-proof as possible?
